Profile
Professor Pan has published more than 250 SCI papers, among which 2 were published on Nature Nanotechnology papers, 120 were published on Nature Index or journals with impact factors over 10. He possesses 3 international invention patents and nearly 80 domestic patent, and 27 authorized invention patents.
At present, Professor Pan has been mainly focusing on exploring new paradigm of structural chemistry based on graph theory and gene science and engineering of novel energy materials, including exploring structural "genes" of materials, high-throughput calculation, synthesis and detection of materials and databases, and interdisciplinary basic research and application for accelerating "research and development of clean energy and key materials", including new solar cells, thermoelectric power generation, energy storage and power cells and key materials. He has more than 10 years of experience in major international companies from original basic research to industrialization of innovative products.
